Flyway 2019, Ballet Memphis

Flyway was originally commissioned by Ballet Memphis as a sculptural set piece, Fall 2014. The work accompanied original choreography by Steven McMahon inspired by the North American route of avian migration known as the Mississippi Flyway. The patterns and peculiarities of birds influenced the visual elements of both the set and the movements. In 2019 Flyway was reworked as a 17-minute long projected animation in collaboration with artist and musician Kyle Statham.
